In 2004 the DRA introduced its first Association defined safety program. The program has seen a significant level of participation from membership. It is designed to assist ranches in managing risk and establish reasonable standards for the Industry. The project has added a facilitator component and now an endorsed insurance program. the DRA has negotiated an Association endorsed program through Gillingham and Associates, as underwriting managers, and it's A.M.Best Excellent rated insurance company.
