Upper Canyon Outfitters & Guest Ranch
Once guests drive into the Upper Ruby Valley and see the mountains surrounding the ranch and the lush green valley, it is clear they are about to indulge in a true Montana Vacation. You are greeted with a warm welcome and the western hospitality that makes you feel at home.
Our spacious and modern lodge offers guests a panoramic view of the mountains surrounding the lodge through our floor to ceiling windows. The main lodge serves as a gathering place for great visits on the front deck, hearty home style meals and comfortable private guest rooms with daily maid service. Each of our four private cabins comes complete with private bedrooms, baths and kitchens. After a busy day of UCO activities guests can relax on the front deck of their cabin while enjoying the natural surroundings.
Upper Canyon also offers a conference and/or reception room with a private bath and kitchen, an ideal place for a business retreat, wedding or family reunion. With our outdoor chapel, couples have shared with us their special day with no worries about the unexpected Montana weather with our reception room.
Kick back on the hammock hidden away in the cottonwood trees at the fly fishing pond. Relax with the sound of the water caring your worries away.

Ranch Activities
Our ranch activities can suit any type of outdoor enthusiast. Horse and cattle activities, fly fishing, history tours, our unique Quest Week, hiking tours, and guided wildlife viewing are some of our summer activities. UCO also offers guided and unguided rifle and archery hunting, including back country tent camps with a high success rate. |
Ranch Lodging
Enjoy our spacious and comfortable lodge with a panoramic view of the mountains surrounding the lodge. The main lodge serves as a gathering place with a front deck, home style meals and private guest rooms. Log cabins are located near the Ruby River. Our private cabins have private bedrooms and baths. After a busy day of activities relax on the front deck and enjoy the natural surroundings. You will have no trouble sleeping as you unwind and enjoy the solitude of your own private cabin. |
