Located just south of Banff National Park, in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Three Bars specializes in 3 and 6 night all inclusive riding and non riding packages. Packages including upscale log cabin accommodations, all meals, unlimited horseback riding, and all ranch activities and amenities. While Horseback riding is always an option, Three Bars offers many other adventures, such as rafting, hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, 4x4 UTV tours, archery, skeet shooting, cook-outs and a full evening program. Three Bars is a working cattle ranch, but that doesn't mean any comfort or amenity has been overlooked. This entirely log facility offers private log cabins, 7500 sq foot main lodge, pool, hot tub, tennis and fitness center. During high season your evenings are busy with Volleyball, campfires, fire engine games, fun casino night, performance horse demonstration and other fun evening activities. The ranch is bordered by a blue ribbon fly fishing river. Hike down to the rivers edge or float the river with a guide, this river offers some of the best cut throat fishing in the world. If all of the activities mentioned above weren't enough, there are 5 eighteen hole golf courses within 20 minutes of the Ranch. If this is your first Dude Ranch vacation,or your a veteran dude rancher you will surely be impressed. The Beckley family are now 4th generation Dude Ranchers, we have been teaching guests from around the world to ride and enjoy western horsemanship since 1952. Three generations of the Beckley's now live on the ranch and are involved in the day to day operations of the ranch. Three Bars Ranch is also home to Beckley Reining horses, where Jesse Beckley trains full time and Jeff and April Beckley train and show as non-pro's. We know not everyone in every family want to ride horses. For that reason we have a non-rider rate. If just relaxing, or hiking, mountain biking, tennis, rafting, playing a game of golf is your idea of a great vacation, then you too will love Three Bars.
Non-riders, singles, families and couples as well will have the trip of a lifetime.
No previous horseback riding experience, no problem we have Dude Ranchers Association certified wranglers to give you a helping hand. All of the activities at the ranch are designed to include all levels of experience. From the old hands to the green horns we will work with you to make you more comfortable.

Each day of your vacation with us here at Three Bars Ranch begins with a great ranch breakfast. Meet with your friends and family in the lodge dining room or on the lodge deck for a morning cup of coffee in the sunshine. Tyler will be by soon to sign you up for the morning adventure, be it a scenic mountain ride, a family ride with the kids, maybe a lesson or are you ready for a fast ride. You choose your ride for the morning and head out to the corrals after breakfast where your horse is saddled and the wranglers are ready to lead you on your adventure. Back to the ranch for lunch and to meet up with the rest of the group. Afternoons you get to choose again! A horseback ride or perhaps a hike, a raft trip or trap shooting. Everyone is back to the ranch by around 4:00 from all the activities. Time for a quick dip in the pool and meet back at the lodge in the saloon or on the patio for a beverage. Some fun recall of the days events and it is dinner time. After dinner join in on the wranglers volleyball game in front of the lodge or spectate from the lodge deck, join in on the campfire or take part in the famous Three Bars Ranch fire engine games. Remember your north, so dark comes late during the summer months it is light here up to 10:30 and it gets daylight again by 5:00 AM. Those who manage to stay up late might even get to see the northern lights, if not the star show alone is worth one late night.

Join us in the lodge dining room or at the outdoor Barbeque area for great wholesome western food. Our breakfasts range from fresh fruit and yogurt to blueberry pancakes, bacon and eggs, you choose what suits you. Lunch is served Buffet and will include fresh salads, ranch baked breads, fresh soups and hot from the oven cookies. Dinners during the week will range from steak right off the barbeque, with a side of grilled vegetables to rice pilaf and chicken breasts in a wine sauce & cheese cake |
Three Bars Ranch offer a word class riding program, run by pro trainer Jeff Beckley. Rides are kept small, 6 guest max, giving us the ability to tailor every ride. Beginner, intermediate and advanced, and family rides are all available. Three Bars also offers a full lesson program for all levels. Private Log cabins will be your home while visiting the ranch. All cabins have custom made log beds (king or 2 queens), private 4 peice baths, fridge, coffee pots, private porch with sun chairs, coded door locks, welcoming duvets and great pillows! Heaters on thermostats. Cabins range from 1 bedroom to 3 bedrooms, we assign each guest to the cabin which suits your needs the best. All cabins are set in a semi circle around the lodge, with automatic yard lights for late nights. |
