Medicine Bow Lodge & Guest Ranch
The Medicine Bow Lodge And Guest Ranch is located at approximately 8500 feet in the Snowy Range of the Rocky Mountains. The closest town is Saratoga, Wyoming which is about 22 miles to the west. The land on which the Guest Ranch sits is located in the Medicine Bow National Forest.
In 1917, Medicine Bow Lodge opened near Saratoga, Wyoming. We are proud to share great mountain views, rushing streams, towering fir trees and a true Old West experience for visitors to this beautiful part of our state. Fishing, hiking, horseback riding and evening campfires are among the memorable activities at the ranch during the summer. A deck overlooking the creek invites artists or readers to enjoy the peaceful surroundings in pristine mountain air. Winter visitors may be hunters, snowmobilers or cross country skiers, downhill skiers who return to the warmth of the Lodge after a day of exertion and excitement.There is something for everyone at Medicine Bow Lodge. We're convinced that everyone will leave here with a fondness for this place and many stories to tell others, we hope you all come and join us for your vacation and experience what many others have called "The Ride of a Lifetime."

Ranch Dining
As many as thirty guests can enjoy all amenities and three delicious home cooked meals are served daily each day in the Lodge dining room. Carefully selected fresh produce, meats and seafood are complemented by breads and desserts prepared from treasured family recipes. We are more than willing to accommodate dietary needs including gluten free diets. |
Ranch Activities
Fishing, hiking, horseback rides including specialty rides and evening campfires are among the memorable activities here at the ranch. Guests may choose to arrange for overnight horseback pack trips in the mountains in Medicine Bow Forest. A deck overlooking the creek invites artists or readers to enjoy the peaceful surroundings in pristine mountain air on a sunny summer afternoon. Guests may also choose to participate in pottery, looking for unique stones specific to this area and an unforgettable night of dancing. |
Ranch Lodging
The recently refurbished Lodge features vintage log walls, comfortable furnishings, a huge stone fireplace and space for games, entertainment and dancing as well as Internet access. As many as thirty guests can enjoy all amenities and three delicious home cooked meals are served daily each day in the Lodge dining room. Cozy cabins are rustic but welcoming and activities for young folks are offered for outdoor fun and arts and crafts. The timeless style of the west is reflected in the courteous and competent staffs that help with all aspects of the Medicine Bow Lodge experience. |

The deadline to cancel your reservation and receive a refund of your deposit would depend on your booking date. There will be a one night cancellation fee.
