Marble Mountain Ranch
Our signature all inclusive "saddle and paddle" or raft and ride vacation joins our superb dining experience and our youth buckaroo program to create the best and most complete family dude ranch vacation. Marble Mountain dude ranch vacations meet the diverse interests and needs of your entire family or group. Our horseback trail riding and covered arena riding programs are spectacular, but our defining feature is our ability to keep whole families engaged with our variety of outdoor Western adventures. No other ranch can duplicate the activity diversity in our all inclusive ranch experience with breathtaking mountain trail riding, arena riding challenges, white water rafting, steelhead fly fishing, and shooting sports! Come join the adventure!
Horse riding and all of our dude ranch activities are personally wrangled and guided directly by the Marble Mountain Guest Ranch family. This avoids handing you off to a third party vendor and avoids long shuttles to off site locations. Personally outfitting all of our events is unique to the Marble Mountain Guest Ranch and allows us to maintain the highest level of quality control, better hospitality, and risk management in providing you the best possible dude ranch vacation. Even our renowned cuisine is homemade daily by members of our ranch family! We have been a family owned and operated business since 1981 and have been in the outfitting, guiding and dude ranch industry since 1970. Our family welcomes your family to California's singular all-inclusive outdoor adventure.
Our horse riding vacations, In California's Klamath National forest, provide a thrilling mix of stunning scenery and fabulous mountain trail riding. We ride through ancient Doug Fir tree stands to high vistas with views across deep river valleys and granite ridge tops. The terrain here is dramatic, varied and rugged so horse and rider are provided an evolving backdrop of challenges, obstacles and landscapes to ride through. The scenic grandeur and rewarding challenges of mountain trail riding create a remarkable opportunity to join horse and rider with the historic American West and a natural outdoor setting.
Horse rides at our family guest Ranch are choreographed to match your riding skill with appropriate horses and the trails. Group sizes typically limit at 6-8 riders with a maximum staff ratio of 6 horse riders to 1 wrangler. After check-in we will meet you at our covered arena for a riding orientation and quick analysis of your riding prowess. With clearance from our wrangling staff, more advanced horse riders will ride more challenging trail sections. Advanced trail rides are typically longer and more distant. They cross creeks, ancient mining flumes and other trail obstacles. The more advanced trail rides are especially noted for rapid gains and losses in elevations as we traverse the mountainous terrain of the Klamath Forest.
We hope you can join us at California's Marble Mountain Guest Ranch
The dining experience at our guest ranch is the foundation of our efforts for superior hospitality. Our best efforts are reflected in a quality and original dining experience during your dude ranch visit. Meals here are healthy, hearty, wholesome, fresh and based on original ranch recipes with produce from our own gardens and orchards. Our menus have a basis in American traditions but are enhanced with originality and the theme of wholesome diet.
For us, "All Inclusive" means that other than jet boat tour upgrades and NRA pistol certifications, everything we do and all we offer is included in your California dude ranch vacation price. There are three separate land based events scheduled during each morning of your stay: trail rides, arena games with riding lessons and shooting sports. In the warmer afternoons we schedule water based events: rafting, kayaking or fishing.
While staying at Marble Mountain Ranch, you will be staying in private cottages or homes. Our cottages and homes vary in size and can accommodate groups as small as two or as large as seven. Each cottage provides beds with linens and towels, bathrooms with toilets and showers/baths and a kitchenette at a minimum. The larger homes also include living rooms, larger outdoor decks and more communal living space.
