Meals are served in the lodge, family style. At the Lonesome Spur, we have a saying, "Keep the cooks happy and everyone will be happy." And this is hard NOT to do -- EAT! You may need to let your belt out a notch or two after spending time at the Lonesome Spur! Fresh-baked breads, mouth-watering and decadent desserts, salads, vegetables out of the garden, and good Montana beef.

Guests are invited to join us with helping out with day-to-day activities on the ranch, every day is different. Throughout the year we are working with our horses and cattle. Spring sees us calving and foaling our home-bred stock. Summer and autumn gets busy with training our colts, checking cattle and our mares at pasture. Whilst out riding you'll probably see all kinds of north American wild life. |
The lodging on the ranch consists of two log cabins, decorated in western theme with log furniture, which each has a separate restroom/shower; a bunk house (each room with a private bathroom) and again decorated in western or lodge theme, each room has a private deck.
All rooms also have fridges, coffee makers, hairdryers and air-conditioning, gift baskets of snacks, soft drinks, toiletries, and some rooms also have satellite TV/CD players. We also have a variety of sitting rooms, sun decks a |
