Horseshoe Canyon Ranch
Near the pristine Buffalo National River wilderness near Jasper, Arkansas. and as seen nationally on HGTV, ESPN2, Midwest Living, Ladies Home Journal and Family Fun magazines, Horseshoe Canyon Ranch is owned and operated by the Johnson family, HCR offers guests a "Western experience with Southern Hospitality." Six-day week includes wonderful food prepared by our Chef, lots of riding and rock climbing, and comfortable, rustic log cabins with spectacular views of rolling meadows and high cliffs. Shorter stays available. Other activities include campfires, canoeing, hiking, cave trips, elk viewing, cookouts, shooting, dancing, river swimming, petting zoo, fishing pond, lodge games and more. The Ranch has a pool and hot-tub too. Credit cards accepted. We recommend early booking.

Ranch Dining
The smell of baking biscuits and roasted coffee lures guests to the lodge each morning. Breakfast is served buffet style. Choose a hearty breakfast or fresh fruit, bagels, and yogurt. One morning, ride to a cowboy breakfast for smoked ham and dutch-oven potatoes. Lunch is served buffet style, allowing guests to choose their favorites. Dinners are brought to you. Our Chef, will serve up everything from seafood, pasta, steaks to grilled mahi mahi and barbecue ribs. The meals are kid friendly. |
Ranch Activities
There's nothing like horseback rides, experiencing Horseshoe Canyon. "Your" horse will be chosen with your particular needs in mind, so you can comfortably enjoy each scenic ride. Enjoy canoeing down Buffalo National River. Rock climbing is popular year-round, scale large cliffs and peer at breathtaking terrain that seems endless. After a full day of activity, 3 good meals, you can relax on your porch, hit the hot tub, or just snuggle down and sort out the day. |
Ranch Lodging
The Cabins at the Ranch are made from solid log, hand peeled yellow pine. They are rustic yet modern and all have a western homey feel about them. All the cabins have a/c and heat as well as a wood burning stove for those chilly nights when a nice fire is the best way to end the day. A small refrigerator, coffee pot, and microwave are there for your convenience. They all have full baths and are fully furnished including linens and towels. |

To confirm reservations a 30% deposit is required. Personal checks, Visa, Discover and MasterCard are accepted. The balance is due upon arrival. Deposits are not refundable but remain active and can be applied to a future reservation for up to two (2) years from the original planned arrival date. If you arrive later than the scheduled arrival date or leave early for any reason, we must charge for the entire period reserved.
